OH GOD I JUST WATCHED EPISODES FOUR AND FIVE. SO MUCH PINING AND FLASHBACKS AND STROKING EACH OTHER'S SWORDS AND GEUEHGEUGEHGE I SHIP IT SO HARD NOW.

SDKLFJSLDKFJKD I started MAD SHIPPING them after that pretty scene of them drinking under the cherry trees from the first episode of season one BECAUSE I'M SHALLOW AND IT WAS GORGEOUS AND I HAVE A THING FOR CUTIES AND THEIR HANDSOME RETAINERS/SWORDSMEN SO SEASON 2 WAS JUST A BIG SHIPPY RUSH FOR ME. They're just so into each other and lmao I love how they the center of each others' universe. <3

It is! And I have some problems with season 2, mostly because of PACING ISSUES. After season one, I think the writers wanted to include and focus on a lot more characters for development, WHICH IS GREAT except they still only had twelve episodes to work with, which is why you get whole episodes without some of the main characters appearing (and Yukimura imo got really shortchanged this season). I think the second season would have worked a lot better if it was 24 episodes instead so you can have all the character development and still give most of the time to Yukimura/Masamune's respective storylines. Or something. BUT I STILL LIKE IT. 8D
